Niya Panamdanam

Niya Panamdanam

Niya Panamdanam is a student at American University pursuing degrees in Anthropology and Law. A world traveler at heart, Niya was born in India, but she lived in a variety of places such as Kerala (S. India), Dubai (UAE), Ajman (UAE), Toronto (Canada), and currently resides in Washington, D.C. She
is an honored recipient of American University's Presidential Scholarship, and is a member of the Early Identification Program.
 

When she is not editing essays for class and scholarships, Niya writes short stories and works with the American University Public Anthropology Group. Currently, she is working on an Anthropological study of the U.S Criminal Justice System concerning gender and sentencing.
